  • What are "Green Bucks"?

It is our way of saying thanks.

In the month of May when you purchase new filters you will receive a check to use on your next filter cleaning.    Green Bucks can be used to pay the invoice.

If you have never tried filter cleaning, now is the time.  Use the "Green Bucks" to try us out.  It can be used on bag filter cleaning, and cartridge cleaning.

  • Cleaning a Paper cartridge Filter? Question

We just had a question about cleaning paper filters.

Yes we can clean a paper filter.  We usually try to move a company toward polyspun media verses paper media if they are serious about having their filters cleaned.

It really depends on their objectives.  You can save more money over the long run by cleaning polyester filters (can clean at roughly 50%, and your initial outlay expense goes down exponentially each time the filter is cleaned.  This can be important with a maintenance manager trying to keep his expenses down.

Another disadvantage of an organic media is they will support growth of fungus and mold.  This is a little recognized item that is many times even overlooked by "AIB inspectors" .

    I am preaching again....... happy

FilterPro can clean a paper filter 2-3 times.  The results are outstanding.

  • A bunch of filters ready to rock

I stepped outside yesterday and it is spring so there was a long line of cleaned filters outside.   I had to post a picture of this.  Cleaned dust collector filters as far as the eye can see.  We work very hard to turn filters around quickly.   This is one days work so you can imagine how many cleaned filters ship out of here in a months time.

  • Publishing Plant Filter

Paper dust in a paper filter was our challenge this week. winky

The amount of solids removed from the filter was interesting to handle.  The dust was very fine and presented a new interesting quirk.  It  blocked up our solids removal system, as it turned to a wall paper paste, Yuck.  But, after a few minutes of playing around we got it!  Looking at putting in a bucket conveyor to remove junk (waste) more easily.  Keeps life interesting.  Anyway look at the picture.  We had a guy up here earlier this week from the largest filter manufacturer and he could not believe the results we achieved.  Kind of make you proud to be on the edge of an emerging technology.
